Pirate victims fought back and were able to escape. Egyptian fishermen who'd been nabbed by the pirates four months ago used machetes and tools to attack their captors, killing two of them. And, turning the tables, the Egyptians apparently have a few of the pirates hostage. See how the Somali pirates like that.
I bet there's someone from Hollywood calling up the Egyptians getting the rights to their story. I wonder if they'll try to get Van Damme to play an Egyptian fisherman...
