Dubai denies pirate money laundering

As Deepthroat would say, "Follow the money."

Dubai's police chief denies that the Gulf state's banks don't launder Somali pirate ransom money. This in response to a piece from Britain's The Independent saying that investigators have found a trail leading to laundering operations in Dubai and other Gulf states.

This is a good one to follow. Not as sexy as SEAL teams taking out bad guys, but an avenue with the potential of doing a lot more damage to the pirates.
